Pachena (or Pahena) is a small and quiet beach on the northern side of Milos island, Cyclades. Although it is not included among the top-visited beaches in Milos, it provides a nice relaxing place to stay while holidaying on the island. This beach is foun at a distance of 7 km from Adamas and 3 km from Pollonia, just off the main road on the northern side of Milos.
Pachena is a sandy and unorganized beach surrounded by few studios, hotels and apartments. Most of these Pachena studios are found in a walking distance from the beach. There is a bus stop 300m from the beach, just on the main road that connects with Adamas, Plaka and Pollonia. Although there are no sunbeds on the beach, there are few tamarisk trees that offer natural shade. Just opposite the beach, half miles off shore, are the famous islets of Glaronissia, with the strange geological features.
