Kolymbithres (or Kolimbithres) is among the most famous beaches in Paros. In Christian tradition, the name of this beach literary means baptistery font and was given due to the special geological features of this beach. Kolymbithres is located right opposite the bay of Naoussa and is actually a small sandy beach.
On one side of the beach, there are granite rocks who have taken special form due to the winds and the salty water. Among these rocks, small natural bays have been formed where people go to swim. Kolymbithres beach in Paros is organized with sun lounges and umbrellas, while some restaurants are found in the region. The beach can be accessed by boat from the port of Naoussa or with private means.
