Best beaches and villages in Karpathos

Karpathos is a very special Greek island, with unique character and vivid tradition. Particularly famous for its nature, Karpathos has many exotic beaches. One of the most impressive beaches in Karpathos is Apella, located on the eastern side of the island. This beach can be reached by excursion boat from Pigadia or by car. Due to the exotic water with the deep blue colour and the white pebbles, this beach is a great place to swim and gets very popular in high season (August).
