Serifos is an island with pure Cycladic style and wild nature. All around the coastline, various Serifos beaches are found, some organized and others totally remote. Livadakia, Megalo Livadi, Psili Ammos, Lia and Agios Sostis are among the most popular beaches in Serifos, while many other bays are accessible only by boat. Most Serifos accommodation is found in Livadi, Livadakia and Chora.

The main village of Serifos is Chora, a beautiful town with traditional architecture that is constructed on the slopes of a hill. This town offers fantastic view to the Aegean Sea. At a distance of only 5 km from Livadi, the main port of Serifos Cyclades, is Chora. This is the main village and capital of the island, constructed on the slopes of a hill, at an altitude of 230m. Livadi is today the largest settlement of Serifos island. This is actually the main port of Serifos where ferries from Athens arrive and where fishing boats and private yachts find a safe shelter to moor. Located just 4 km from Livadi, the port village of Serifos, Psili Ammos beach is among the most popular beaches on the island. This is a fantastic golden beach, with not a single pebble on the coast and many shady spots. The waters of Psili Ammos beach is crystal and shallow, making it a great place for kids. However, when it is windy, visitors are suggested to avoid this beach as the open bay is largely affected by summer winds. Few seaside taverns are found just few steps from the sea, offering delicious local recipes in a fantastic environment.
Avlomonas is among the largest beaches in Serifos and in all Cyclades islands. This beach is actually a continuation of Livadi beach, the port beach on the island. It is a large bay that has golden sand and crystal waters. Part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, while many Serifos hotels and studios line up Avlomonas. A sea kayak center of Serifos is also found there. Avlomonas can be reached in 10 min walk from the port of Serifos and therefore it has easy access to the restaurants, cafeterias and shops in Livadi.
